Some Sanskrit literature transposed/translated?

Thanks to James for taking up the dialectic here. Let’s keep posting the various perspectives.
Danielou’s treatments has, no doubt, many problems. But the realization, by a good Sanskritist and Hindu scholar like Danielou, that much Sanskrit literature is transposed/translated from earlier (Dravidian) literature is a very strong argument against the critics of Aryan migration. Danielou is not chauvinist, but a thorough fan of Hinduism.
I think an attitude of cultural horror causes many Indians to react strongly here: the reality of the Aryan migration as described by Danielou challenges an entire tradition.
