Batchelor and secular buddhism…

Update: I was at first critical of this book but at this point the fate of buddhism must be to explore its own wasteland in the way to some epochal resurfacing of the legacy. Exploring all the mistakes here is invevitable.

But I recommend reading Decoding World History: Buddhism has a key place in world history but in a new era the legacy is confounded. So who knows.

My criticism is that seccular humanism is entirely appropriate but its rejection of religion is not the same as the rejection of the spiritual  The latter term can be replaced. Consider or take on Bennett: the whole spiritual realm as per Samkhya is also material, etc…
